Getting Set for Employment
Year 11 pupils at Lindbergh Campus were recently put through their paces with mock employment interviews.
The interviews were geared towards potential future employment opportunities, and were facilitated by careers guidance company, All Together.
The interview process took place over two sessions. The first session guided pupils through interview techniques and tips on how to fill out a job application. The second session consisted of an interview with an actual local employer, based on the application the pupils had written in the first session.
Tim James, Pupil Engagement Lead at the Raedwald Trust said: “The pupils found the experience extremely useful, and it helped to give them deeper insight into the application and interview process. One pupil has since received a call back for a follow up interview!
“The Year 11’s should be congratulated for their impeccable behaviour – we have had some excellent feedback from employers.”
