Coronavirus: DfE Advice & PHE Guidance for Schools

We request that you please ensure that you are following the Government directives:
  • If a member of your household has developed a new persistent cough or raised temperature since Thursday 12th March, then you need to isolate your whole household for 14 days. If you are self-isolating, please make this very clear when you call the school.
  • We have identified staff who fall into the vulnerable groups specified by the Government. As a result some staff will be shielding themselves from non-essential contact due to them being in a “vulnerable group”.
  • We have a number of staff who are self isolating in accordance with government advice.  This means that it may be necessary for us to amend individual timetables and opening times in order that we are able to safely manage challenging times.  We will be in contact with you directly if you are going to be impacted.
  • We await further instruction from the Department for Education, which we should receive tomorrow, and will update you regarding measures for next week and beyond, as soon as we can.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
