At Raedwald Trust, we have created a bespoke reading programme aimed at students who find engaging with reading challenging. The Readers for Life Curriculum helps develop comprehension skills through explicit vocabulary and fluency instruction. It includes strategies to help staff deliver engaging and tailored reading lessons to hard to reach students.
The reading list reflects pupils’ lived experiences to ensure engagement and relevance.
