The Community Shelf initiative from the Raedwald Trust and Copleston High School has received a fantastic £500 grant from the Tesco Bags of Help Covid-19 Communities Fund.
The communities fund from Tesco was set up to quickly get funds to vital community projects that have been disrupted, have seen an increase in demand, or are a new service created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Community Shelf was created in April 2020, and supports children and families in need with food, toiletries, good quality clothing and home essentials.
The much-needed grant from the Tesco Bags of Help Covid-19 Communities Fund, will go directly to the Community Shelf to help supply pupils and their families with essential items.
