The\u00a0purpose of this pathway is to support pupils\u00a0on a\u00a0one-to-one\u00a0basis\u00a0in their home school\u00a0whilst\u00a0following the home school curriculum.\u00a0Session lengths are up to 2 hours (in the morning or the afternoon).\u00a0\u00a0The pathway\u00a0provides\u00a0safe\u00a0and\u00a0stable support\u00a0within the home school\u00a0setting to address gaps in learning, enable\u00a0pupils to\u00a0access the home school curriculum, and support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.<\/p>\n

Timescales\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Home\u00a0schools\u00a0commission the Traded Service directly from the Raedwald Trust on a termly basis. At the end of each term, a review meeting is held between the mainstream setting and the Headteacher\u00a0of Albany Academy\u00a0to evaluate pupil progress, assess the impact of the provision, and agree on any future commissioning arrangements.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0number of\u00a0hours of support is agreed between the home school and the Raedwald\u00a0Trust\u00a0and\u00a0this can\u00a0be up to\u00a0a total of\u00a025 hours.<\/p>\n

Curriculum<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0home\u00a0school\u00a0is responsible for\u00a0providing the curriculum content\u00a0that\u00a0will be delivered by an Albany member\u00a0of staff. The primary aim of this package is to support the pupil\u2019s reintegration into a full mainstream classroom environment.<\/p>\n

Assessment\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the induction period, staff will work alongside the Raedwald Trust Assessment Centre to obtain baseline information that will help us to inform future teaching.\u00a0Pupil progress will be tracked\u00a0against the baseline\u00a0and shared with home schools on a 6-weekly\u00a0cycle. Information will be recorded in a Pupil Support Plan and shared with the home school,\u00a0and wider professionals where\u00a0required.<\/p>\n

If\/when the\u00a0significant gaps\u00a0or\u00a0additional\u00a0needs are\u00a0identified, this\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0fed\u00a0back to the home\u00a0school SENCo who may direct\u00a0intervention to be delivered by Albany\u00a0 staff\u00a0as part of the pathway offer.\u00a0\u00a0These\u00a0identified\u00a0interventions will be assessed according to the APDR cycle, directed by the\u00a0home-school\u00a0and\u00a0in some cases\u00a0facilitated\u00a0by Raedwald Trust staff\u00a0and\u00a0shared with the parents\/carers.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
